Similar stories about Sharkey. Today I heard a story from the person I got the cards from that Sharkey was taking money from the cage to gamble with and got behind the 8 ball a few times. He ended up owing Bill Harrah $500K. Bill took him aside and said....."I like you...kid" " You owe me $500K... You got 6 months to get it to me". Sharkey went on a 4 month gambling spree. He won enough money to pay off Harrah and put his stake in the South Tahoe Nugget.
