I have every email in our conversation. What I have stated in the last couple of days is exactly the same as I did back then, that the chips had paper inlays and were made in the 9180's or later.
Given that the conversation took place over an 8 day period, and that you didn't mail the chip until the 5th day, I'm not sure how you could form the opinion that I had seen the physical chip at that time.
I would have thought your research might tell you that I live in the UK, and that for the chip to get here would have taken at least a further week. As it is, my mail is periodically sent on to me here, and I didn't see the chip itself until maybe a month later. My secondary comments were based on hi-res scans sent to me by Gene Trimble (to who's address you mailed the chip). By the time I received it you had already told me that the chips had been sent to Heritage and I had nothing further to add to my comments.

In my previous post I showed picture which prove 100% that the chip has a more recent inlay. To put it as simply as possible, the JFK chips have bright white inlays. Such inlays did not physically exist on Burt Co. chips before the 1980's. End of story.
Breaking the chip to remove the inlay proves nothing. The three layers are bonded together in a laminating press at 200 degrees and 100 tons per sq inch pressure for an hour, they do not come apart. The bet is therefore absolutely pointless. Almost anyone that looks at the scans I showed can tell you the same things I have just explained.

The mold didn't suddenly wear out, it has worn gradually with 75 years of use. The sample chip I scanned obviously shows more wear than your chips, it has had another 30 years usage. My point was that when your chips were made the wear was considerably greater than on the two Nevada Club chips which were made at the same time you purported that your chips were. Simply not possible.
