Certainly after the days events of 75 years ago today, Americans rallied as nation around the war effort like never before. Everything one could do to further the war effort and bring America to victory was just the right thing to do!! Matchbook manufactures were no exception in doing their part. Thousands, if not millions of books were made to promote and support the war effort. Although not rare by any means to find examples donning these colorful graphics socking it to our enemy's, but narrowing down this category down to gambling establishments from the state of Nevada are becoming increasingly hard to find. I have many more WWII covers but I think these four are exceptional.
