I think the feature would be limited to the power charge and not data transfer, or it would be too easy to use a phone to access the machine's programming. You wouldn't even need a key to unlock the cabinet to attach your gator clips!

How about this as a movie plot, though? - the bad guys figure out how to make their USB cord "jump" from just a power function to access the data side and start quietly printing TITOs.
