Most Apple products these days are assembled in the far-east (where labor is cheaper). They drop ship the item to the customer as orders come in (from Korea, in your case). My order for an iPad was handled that way a couple of years ago.

Our new President claims he will exact retribution from any company that thinks they will save money by having their factory in another country (at least if it's an air-conditioner). Look for Apple phones to go way up in price next year; you may have to buy a Samsung product instead .
