I find all the distress over the election to be unbelievable! People
are demonstrating, rioting, etc. To what purpose? What do they
hope to accomplish? Some schools were even offering counseling
to students.
Back in 2008, Obama won the election and many of us were less
than happy. I don't recall anyone protesting, demonstrating, etc.
I do remember that back then I was friends with someone in the
world of chips and we exchanged daily emails and she would email
comments on whatever I'd posted here on the Chip Board.
Once the election was over the comments turned to criticism and
I was advised to show some respect for our president. LOL She
finally wrote and informed me that I would be blocked from her
mailbox and even brought her husband into the rant.
Now that Obama's pick did not win the election, I wonder if she
and her husband are out somewhere drinking the Kool-Aid and
demonstrating and protesting.
While I'm as opinionated as the next person, I don't believe in
arguing over politics as everyone is entitled to their own views
and opinions. This year politics has definitely taken a somewhat
strange turn!
