Personally, I think the Club is headed in a good direction which is the main reason I rejoined for two years after a three year absence. But since you asked, a few things I have heard from various people over the years..
1. The Museum of Gaming History. The new MOGH leadership is doing a fantastic job on this project, but a few years ago there were many chippers who thought it was a complete waste of time and money on a pipe dream that would never come to fruition.
2. The kids goodie bags given out at the convention. I know this seems rather trivial but I remember talking to a couple people who thought it was a terrible idea to promote 'gambling' to minors.
3. The 'Click'. Yeah.. I know the proper spelling is 'clique' though some prefer to spell it the savage way. . I think it turns turns a lot of people off..
Again, I don't think any of the above is true, but those are a few things I heard over the years why some don't support the club.
