Years ago there were members who complained to the board about new issues being issued at casinos that they couldn't get.
Many people feel as a result of those complaints new rules were created that severely impacted the approval Of new commemoratives and some casinos stopped making them completely.

The absence of new chips in my opinion was a large cause of the decline in chip
Collecting and started the reverse trend in our membership.

While it does appear that the GCB has no current problems with the club, you have to remember that we collect items that were never meant to leave the casino floor.

At any time gaming control can enforce rules that could cripple the club so we always have to be careful with how we approach things.

That is most likely what Larry was referring to.
