The escudo replaced the peso on 1 January 1960 at a rate 1 escudo = 1000 pesos.
Vine del Mar is a coastal city northwest of Santigo, Chile. The plaques are marked Municipal Casino so apparently the place is run by the town. The embedded tokens are metal and marked with the casino name so they are apparently not Chilean coins.
These small plaques from South America (Vina del Mar casino) are for sale for $5 each with $3.50 shipping for any number of plaques. The yellow 5000 escudos plaque is apparently a scarce one as I've not seen another for sale. Size is about 2x3 inches for the 5000 escudos denominations. The hot-stamped reverses are worn but readable. Pink plaque has molded lettering and green plaques have very deep white hot-stamps or incuse lettering. No edge damage on any of these.
There are three of the green 20 escudos plaques and one each of the pink, yellow, and blue plaques.
