I really like the simple, chummy, format of The Chipboard, and it works well most of the time.

But in my opinion not having a formal registration process invites more scammers that might normally get weeded out if one had to formally sign-up here like on a PhpBB board.

In the past several years here, twice I received an e-mail from someone looking to buy/sell..each time it just didn't feel right, so I declined.

Agree with Michael, trust your gut.

I only like to do transactions with regular members of the Chipboard..whose names I have seen for awhile. Doesn't matter if they are a Club member, or not..
