information it doesnt seem to translate to new collectors.
The club has set up tables at several large ANA conventions previously.
I spent 3 full days at my own expense at an ANA show in Dallas a few years ago.
In my mind where better to reach new collectors that advertising at a place that already has thousands of coin collectors.
unfortunately that effort produced very little interest in chip collecting and although I handed out dozens of membership packages, not one person ended up signing up which was a little depressing.
So you can lead collectors to the water, but unless they want to, you cant make them drink.
We are always looking for new ideas but haven't found the right answer yet.
Doesn't mean we will stop trying though.
