~~~ there is nothing to turn the club around... and, though I and others may want to see a larger membership, I seriously doubt we will ever see those days again; which, in my opinion, has got very, very little to do with our current or past BOD... and all to do with our current state of affairs, worldwide. Besides; and this, again, just being my opinion... I don't think the founders of our club really planned on us being a world-wide society, but rather a more-organized gathering of members to plan local gatherings and somewat larger events in order to have more of us getting together in order to buy, sell and trade... and during that brief period of time there were events that took place where many saw the chance to jump on the bandwagon to get into some of the action ($£€) that was going on within a somewhat overnight expansion of our membership with the advent of both eBay and LE chips running rampant where folks were simply joining with us so they would be accepted within our community and their stay was short-lived... or, in other words; our club was a brief stopever for many to make a buck.. and the hardcore collectors will be the only ones sticking around come hell or high waters. Yay club...
