Having spent the day schlepping around London sightseeing, memories of an Academy Award winner spring to mind in the worst-ever movie category: THE ENGLISH PATIENT. This movie should be used in aversion therapy clinics. The most boring piece of tripe on which I've wasted 2 hours of my life.

It does, however, illustrate just how good Miramax' Weinstein brothers are at manipulating the members of the Academy... or were, at any rate.
