If ever U are planning to attend the Convention, here are a few helpful tips:
Arrive a few days earlier and stay a few days after it ends.
Reasons: It's nice to get settled in and relax. The South Point Casino, Resort and Spa is a five star property!
June's outside temp. is about 110degress!!
My first convention...I barely stepped outside the resort!
Our SP room special Convention rate is great! Free WIFI in the hotel rooms.
I stay a few days longer after the convention, because I love to stay in my room and sort out all the Chip'n Treasures I found!
The South Point has a free airport shuttle.
Do not take the airport taxi....$35.00 Plus the tip!!
That one way taxi rip off fare can buy U a lot of $1.25 Hot Dogs on the casino area! LOL! But so true! HaHaHa!
The SP Garden buffet restaurant has it all. The bevs are all included, too. No need to eat at the Coronado Cafe.
$2.75 for coffee!!! There Midnight deals are super.

Attend the banquet. The guest speakers are so dynamic and interesting! And they will answer all your questions!
Be a Volunteer! It'll put a smile on your face and it'll warm your heart to see all your fellow Volunteers!

If U can catch 'm, they are both always running around making sure everything, and I mean everything is running smoothly and on time!
Pre-buy lots of raffle tickets from CigarMan Doug Smith. And practice lifting weights a month before the convention, so when U win a Raffle big heavy blue plastic bag, U will not embarrass yourself by having to drag it around!!!
When U take the long high escalator up to the show room, as U are standing in line to get your badge....take the time to look at the Volunteer Check in badge Crew. They do a great long thankless job! Awesome Gang!
I'm sure I am forgetting a lot to tell U, but please try to attend next June. When I am feeling down, blue and/or stressed out, I daydream about seeing all my Good Ole Chipp'n fellow Chippers, that puts a smile on my face! Good times!
Plus...I'll take lots of photos of U and CB Post 'm!
