Personally, I don't try to catalog UV markings, though I do use a UV light to check for them on occasion.
Other chippers may be more involved with UV's than me.
It can be helpful in trying to decide if 2 chips are variants, or from the same production run.
If one has UV and the other does not, or if materially different, it may indicate 2 variants ... but also may be a reorder.
The one set of UV's that I did collect are the different UV names on the Luxor $1 Chipcos.
They caused some excitement when discovered in 1993 as Luxor's first set of chips.
