Re: They have Tiger 9 Pai Gow at Golden Nugget

Problem is that *most* hands will push anyway with the dealer having a 9 up front, most players will have the 9 beat, even if the dealer has anything good in the 5 card hand. The annoying part of this is that when the dealer has a loosing hand both front and back, then they don't have to pay most of the table who likely have the dealer beat on both 5 and 2 card hands. So they risk nothing in pushing when they have a good 5 card hand and only a 9 in the 2 card hand, but they gain greatly not paying most of the hands on the table when they have nothing in the 5 card hand. I'd love to see the math on how this changes the game and the hold for the table.

If it's a good thing, can the player declare a push if their 2 card hand has a 9 and the dealer would have beat them? No? Then this Tiger 9 bullshoes must only be in favor of the House. Another way to take a fun game and up the house advantage to screw the players. I mostly quit playing blackjack when the casinos decided to keep $1.50 of your blackjack bonus on a $5 bet. Didn't endear me to them anymore then than not paying when they get paigowed is making me want to play at Tiger 9 tables now.
