Too many to fit into one photo but here are some of my finds. A Rincon prime rib, rare. Satan's Puppy. Grieps! Brandy's Drug Lab $500. Another $500 from a 1-2-8 Paigow winner. The 4 Queens 50th Anniversary (gotten from the casino). Our Place. From the Hotel Nevada, a Yang. Cape Canaveral Cruise Lines token, from Florida but not listed that way on the ChipGuide. A Chip of Poker Flats and the very elusive Hemphill's, still holding an active gaming license in California.
Ever try to walk out of a room with 400 chips in your trousers pocket? Nope, me neither.
Thanks to the great "dealers" at the show who made it possible for me to acquire all these: The Spinettis, Barry Weintraub, Mike Christensen, Raul Mendonça (ha! found that little buttonhook thingie), Walt Gonsky, Walter Dirzulaitis, Curt Squires, "Cousin" Reggie Gummer, John Kallman, Señor Spragg, Ernie Wheedon, Dave Takach, Doug Saito, Norm Clem, and Butch Reynolds with whom I had a tête-a- tête in his room to plot the future downfall of the European Common Market.
But now it's time to play $500 Bingo with those Seminoles . . .
