I rec'd the following email this am. Raulin is a fellow chipper. I am concerned - BUT - the questions I asked the would be sender have Not been answered to verify the email actually came from Raulin - FEELS like a scam. HERE IT IS:

I am in a terrible situation with my Family, We are stranded here in Philippines, We were robbed and All our cash, credit card and phones were taken from us. We are left with nothing and we have been to the police and embassy but they are not willing to help at the moment.

Our return flight will be leaving soon but we are having problems sorting our bills and the hotel management will not let us leave until we sort the bills, We need your help with a loan of $1,450 or any amount you can spare now, I promise to refund you back the money, Please let me know what you can do to help.
