Thanks for the birthday wishes, folks! Great photo, Steve!
Surprised to see an entire new rack at San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino last night; the poker room cashier told me the chips had been released late last December. These are "wordless" so you and future generations better be able to recognize the Serrano Band of Mission Indians' tribal emblem. Paulson, reverse hats and canes molds on 1, 3 and 5 values, casino mold on outer ring for the $25.
I will bring some with me to the Show unless they all go first. $1 - $4.25. $3 - $6.75. $ 5 - 8.75. Includes shipping in padded envelope.
The casino also has new $100 (black), $500 (greyish-purple) and $1,000 (orange/oversized) chips on the tables. I would not suggest buying them but if anyone really really wants one, you may contact me.
Important redemption advice from the poker cashier: the old sets of RTP and Paulson chips, with the casino name written on them (CG 015061 series and CG 019254 series) were to be redeemed within 6 months of the issuance of the new ones. Since 5 1/2 months has passed before the new ones were "discovered," you now have only TWO WEEKS to cash in any old San Manuel chips if such is your desire. After that time, anyone who tries to play or cash the old chips will be sat down on the outer edge of the tribal elders' campfire, handed a stick, and told to hit coyotes over the head while the elders eat, sing and snooze. So if you don't want to be hitting puppies all night, cash in those chips now.
