It sounds like you will have to back up all the files and photos to migrate them to the new server/instance anyway. It sounds like a good opportunity to move it off GoDaddy (if you are going to migrate to another server its the same to migrate to another service). But GoDaddy has been pretty stable so i think of this as a one-shot migration.
