Thanks to Ed Hertel I now have five colors of the KY Club metal inlay chips. I scanned them all together and there is no doubt that the black chip is is not a variation of the blue/grey chip we all have seen. this is a straight scan with no adjustment. My guess is the blue chip had a dye in the mix that was unstable and just faded.
