In answer to your last question about the picture...

That is a "feature" of the new BB. Just like the BB remembers your name, email address, mail preference, etc., it also remembers whatever you last posted in the Link URL, Link Title and Image URL boxes. That is VERY handy for those who like to post the same link with every message, like perhaps a link to your trade list or your home page, etc.

To get rid of the data just erase the boxes in your next posting and it will forget it.

In the next version the author plans to make remembering those items an option you choose when you set your preferences.
