Drove two and a half hours up to McAlester today, where we learned that the GPS on my sister's phone AND my Magellen want to bring you about half a mile north of where the place really is. It is really exactly there, where Business US69 splits off from US69. Don't get faked out.
Next important thing: Yes, I believe I have been there before, but ten years ago (2006), when my uncle died and we drove up to Missouri for the funeral. At that time, no table games. Matches well with what the pit boss told me: they've had table games maybe 8 or 9 years.
They have lots of electronic slots there. They have one three-card poker table, which opens at 5:30 pm. And two blackjack tables, which open at 4:00 pm.
And they use the old wave-style design Choctaw Durant chips (CG018453 and family). That is correct: They do not even have their own chips! It's like they are the illegitimate child, getting the dregs and left-overs. The $500 chip is the current Durant CI and/or GO chip.
The only bright point, such as it is, was getting a photo of the $100 wave chip that had not previously been recorded for the Durant page. Sadly, the chips are in rather used condition, so ... not the best photo.
