You are right nobody said "they were real", but still, most treat them as such....

I mentioned early that I thought that listing the fantasy chips in the TCR to say that are fakes/fantasy, meaning they are not casino-chips was very important. My problem is that then they put a value on it,.

If the only reason you are putting the chips in a casino chip catalog, is to discredit them "as not being true casino chips" then you should not put a value, because as a casino chips they have zero value. They have a value as non-casino chip collectibles, just like any other non-casino chip collectible. You put a value while saying they are fake you are sending a double and probably confusing message to the newbe. That is all. Or my other alternative is to find a specific place for them, just like we do for advertisement chips, personal chips etc.

My entire point was taken completely out of context by many. Or maybe I was not too clear. But most of what I got back was that the fantasies were made by a great guy, we owe it to him to treat them different, histories of Bill and the Borlands, we love the chips, many collect them, I collect a lot of them, they should be part of the collection, they are part of the casino chip history, there are 3 types of them.. all of which was great, and educational to me. But nobody said you are wrong because of a) b) & C), I just got a lot of "you are wrong". Most not really understanding my simple three points. So, when you said I did not give creed to their points, I did, but nobody was addressing my points directly just telling me how they felt about the chips. So, I had nothing to argue or discuss as they were only telling me how they felt, period, and I cannot argue with how people feel, that is their choice.

So, anyway, is a mute point as most actually agreed with "what I was trying to say, thinking somehow that I was saying something different." Like my point that they should belong in the guide as fake, except I wanted no valued on them, if not, prefered a separate specific place for them. But I kept hearing.."you are wrong, they really should be on the guide as fakes" ... .exactly what I was trying to say..,. so..It got very frustrating and I may have jumped the gun on you because I felt personally attacked.. and was already very frustrated, sorry on my part,
