I have the most complete collection of Borland chips that I am aware of.
807 different chips.
Borland never advertised them as real casino chips. You can blame Club members for selling them as real casino chips.
"- They are not "casino chip" as they were never made to be used as such..."
"- No casino have ever accepted them..."
Borland did sell to casinos. I have 2 issues documented as real casino orders including Sahara roulettes.
Bud Jones was not happy he beat BJ out with the molds he sold to Borland. Borland competed on many other orders.
"But can we truly justify having them in catalogs, guides or any paraphernalia only dedicated to true casino items or real casino chips... I REALLY THINK NOT.."
IMO, YES!! How else will the new collector know they are fake and or Counterfeit chips like our dealers sell them as. Yes some still do.
Articles documenting Borland chips. Years of research went into the articles.
