I still get involved with some Hospitals based on a previous life's work.

In some of their office facilities they are considering and in some, working on it as we speak, adding a third rest room. Still not sure what to call them. They cannot afford getting "a bad name" as Hospitals like Doctors live on their reputation. Hospital loose credibility very easy with word of mouth, whether true or false, just like Doctors do when somebody who is not fully aware of the facts calls them liers. The saddest part is that those new rest rooms, although few, were initially designated for the disabled...but the disabled, as other large minorities not so popular with the liberals, are forgotten, or do not get any attention...by the Government or the press..they are not sexy or "cool". After all the disabled rarely complains.....most cannot anyway......,and they would never sue anybody..even if a bakery does not want to bake them a cake.

Yes, nobody is putting a gun to these hospital's head. But, by allowing anybody to use any restroom, they have considered that the damage that a hospital or hospital office building could have if a girl or young woman was raped or killed by a lunatic dressed in drags is so bad that the publicity would totally do in the hospital. So an expensive extra bathroom is probably their only way to comply with the New Government executive law so that they do not get sued by the Government or by a potential rape victim of said law!!...and of course at the expense of the disabled!

Trust me, Target is not going to be the only one to probably get sued by a victim of a pipping tom who was allowed to use the women changing room, specially if the photos he took of the young girl go viral. That is just the beginning .... but of course you will probably get the press saying that it had nothing to do with the law and that now conservatives want to blame the transgender's "needs" for the acts of a criminal...

I have worked with the disabled all my life, as a doctor, as a volunteer, in any way I could and presently getting to know them in my own skin as I am going in that direction quite fast now, maybe why this issue is really really pissing me off more these days......they are probably the minority less taken cared of, most mistreated and potentially less funded in relation to their real much larger needs. And unfortunately, every time a small group wants to make some point, you can be sure our liberals in the Government will take their cause..if is sexy or controversial, specially to distract people of everything wrong that is happening to this country and its economic future.... They of course cannot hear the complaints of the disabled...or would want to.
