It appears to be a half dollar. I think I see a hint of the "S" in 50 cents showing on the back. The dime and quarter would have no S. The back of the eagles head has some different feather compared to the photo I found. It also looks like it was on a necklace and the hole was plugged up. With all the damage it would be hard to grade.
