I've seen 1000 chip sets of the Chesterfield chips. I'm pretty sure Spinetti had or maybe still has 1000s of these chips.
Probably in the top three if not number 1 most common crest and seal (excluding c&s generics)
Having said that, they are quality chips. I would say better quality than anything made today. If cleaned, the chips will look virtually brand new (except for edge chips) forever. IMHO $2 apiece is a reasonable price when bought in large quantities. Best buy one could make in a personal set. Only thing better is if your name is Chesterfield.
Individually chips might go for $5 to $10 or more apiece. The CC chips might go for less for there are a zillion of them
