I have been researching the card rooms in San Diego County. More specifically the Escondido
card rooms. The Metropolitan Recreation was located @ 143 E. Grand in 1951 and moved to 147 E. Grand
With E. Hobbs and Mark Rudoff as owners. In 1958 The Metro was located @ 140 E. Grand and on
March 12, 1970 Patrica Kadel was the owner and requested a renewal permit.

The Escondido Billiard Parlor was located @ 116 E. Grand . Mr. Keith Hutchens (partner) made an undated
request to operate a billiard or card room and to operate 4 card tables. I do not know of any chips.

Two other clubs on Grand were the 395 @ 121 W. Grand and the Skippers Club @ 125 W. grand
