Re: What is a Player's Bank?
In Response To: What is a Player's Bank? ()

From my understanding it is similar to a safe deposit box.

Just like high stakes poker players have safe deposit boxes in many Las Vegas poker rooms.

I'm pretty sure they are also often used to be the "banker" in California Card games, that the non-Indian casinos still have to have.

I never play those games, but I see them all the time at Oceans 11 and Lake Elsinore..game like blackjack, 3 card poker, etc.

Obviously, your typical 1/2 players wouldn't have one. grin

Many of the old Palomar players have moved on to other casinos..notably Seven Mile in Chula Vista, Lucky Lady in S.D. and Sycuan.

From what I hear, it was quite a bit of money taken out of "circulation"..
