EBay/PayPal not so coordinated anymore

Since eBay spun off PayPal as a separate company, I have noticed that they do not always coordinate payment records between the two companies. Today I noticed that 3 shipped orders - noted as "shipped," with tracking info on eBay - were still appearing many days later without shipping/tracking info on PayPal. I had to manually enter the tracking numbers onto PayPal. (I had at least a dozen other orders that were properly coordinated between the two companies)

My concern is that eBay only keeps your records visible for 60 days, but PayPal allows 180 days for a buyer to say he didn't receive an item. If a buyer says at 90 or 120 days that he never received a shipment, PayPal will still show it as unshipped and eBay's proof of a tracking number will no longer be accessible. The money will clearly be taken out of the seller's account.

I am going to routinely verify that my PayPal account has up-to-date shipping info, even if it means manually entering it.
