Is our process not basically the same thing?

My understanding is that the reason we put the names on the back of the envelope is to make sure the vote is a qualifying one.
The envelopes are opened and the papers put in a stack and then opened later with witnesses.
No names are on the ballots so the election chairs don't even know who voted for who.

Same process but doesn't require a second envelope.
