Naah, gaming commission seems not to be overly
In Response To: Freedner...my question is... ()

concerned about chips being used. I have a hand-of-cards generic chip that was used as an emergency 50¢ chip at Diamond Jim's in Rosamond, where I spotted it in a rack and bought it from the cage. It hasn't been posted because there's no good way to prove the chip actually came from the casino or a home-play set. Except to do as I did. I once saw 50¢ Great Western chips from Bakersfield being happily put to use at the Oceana Card Room. And a bunch of Macon County $5 chips were "coin of the realm" at the old Central Coast Casino Paso Robles until they changed the casino name change to Paso Robles Casino, when it got its own rack. Most smeared by Icon - the old Macon County chips were much better!

Such shenanigans, of course, would never pass muster in Nevada.
