Yes, I am a lucky guy on my 66th birthday. Two and a half year old William showed up at a little after 8:15 am. We drilled, hammered, dug in the dirt, moved to the chip room and played until lunch time. After his nap time we played indoors until Olivia and Tegan showed up for my birthday dinner. Tegan started us with my favorite SANDLANDS wine the 2013 Chenin Blanc and then he poured the 2008 KONGSGAARD Syrah both are spectacular wines. Cathy made us my favorite Caesar salad with homemade dressing. She served sautéed vegetables, with tiny potatoes and mushrooms, she topped off my plate with 2 small medium rare filet mignons. We finished with a fantastic 4 layer chocolate mousse for desert. I received singing happy birthday songs from the southern 5 P’s, my sisters Joan and Karen. The personalized songs made me feel like they were celebrating with me. Birthday wishes on facebook and The Chip Board made me smile all day long. It was a GREAT Birthday.
