I didn't know there were two different techniques for putting an image in a post. Thanks for correcting me. I hope I didn't confuse our new user too much. I'm guessing he has the latest and greatest of the on-line browsers though.

The "Browse" method has always worked fine for me with either Internet Explorer-11 or with Firefox browsers. I really appreciate the unlimited size possible with this method too. I generally upload scans at 150 bpi, even for several chips and (at least on my laptop) the browser reduces the picture to whatever it needs to display it all on one screen. I hope it does that for other viewers of my posts .
