Re: How do you put pictures on a post?

When you create a post for The Chip Board and want to include a picture that you have on your PC, click the "Browse" button above the text typing area on the board. You will see the folders on your PC containing all the files you have stored locally. Traverse your folders until you come to the one containing the picture you want to upload to your post. Then double-click on the file name and click "open". Your picture will be uploaded and a link to it will be placed in the text box of your post. You can do this repeatedly if you have more than one picture or scan to show. There's no longer a limit to the size of your upload. Your picture must be in one of the commonly used file formats for images, with file extensions of .jpg, .gif, .jpeg, or .png

If you ever want a refresher on this procedure you can find it with the link called "File Upload" located in one of the yellow bars on TheChipBoard.com main screen. That information file is somewhat out of date as it still tells you your file size is limited to 156 K; that's no longer a limit. It also only lists two acceptable file name extensions while there are now four.
