Mike, Just my two cents worth.... I notice the Peacock chip has a knurled or reeded edge. Was that a USPC only style, or did other makers use it too? I found that the art is the Peacock family crest and there were some Peacocks in Cincinnati in the late 1800's and early 20th century. The initials are probably George, something, Peacock. The Peacocks here had a George. If there is a connection to the McKinley's, who was from Ohio, then maybe a search of city directories from Ohio might turn up something.......Like I said, just my two cents.
