You want to say that the membership officer confronted a member about his membership in what you feel is an inappropriate way, that's fine.

I still don't understand where he or anyone else for that matter took credit as the chipboard being part of the 'Club'

The chipboard does benefit the club in many ways. Heck, I sell club raffle tickets here even though you don't have to be a member to donate or buy tickets.

However even though the club sees benefit from the chipboard, never once does the club take credit for the chipboard being part of the 'Club' or as you say take credit for what happens here.

I guess that's all I have to say and you can have the last word.
