The SS Rex chip was sold among these in a collection of really old Las Vegas items and early California items.It seems to me that gives this chip a bit more credence as to where it comes from.I of course would love to have it attributed to the SS Rex club in Las Vegas. The La Rue chip is a pic from somewhere else and has been attributed to the La Rue.Im showing the chip because there are 3 menus from 1944 from the La Rue restaurant that might have some relation to the La Rue in Las Vegas,maybe an early beginning? The old postcards from the Apache club also are in direct correlation to why this chip is more easily believed to be from this era and place in time.Thanks for looking and I hope to find more about this chip and hopefully attribute it to The SS Rex,Las Vegas.
