This month they sweetened the deal by offering $10 Free Play, twice a month. (They get more generous with the chips the closer it draws to the expiration date.)

Most club members take their free play in the form of slot machine play on the club card. One has to ask the V-Club Hostess for "a chip" at the time of appearing, presenting valid ID and claiming your free play. Used to be, she would open a drawer at the Club Desk and hand you a comp chip, but now you get a voucher which they sign. You take the voucher to the tables and find a Pit Boss (a dealer can't redeem it) and show the Boss your club card all over again. Boss opens up locked drawer of Valuable Items and hands you a chip or two to redeem the voucher.

The Viejas comp chips are always notched, they are valid at the tables in that manner.
