I have always claimed, and always tried to be just and until just a few days ago, NOBODY had ever said that "I purposely, or even without realizing, I screwed somebody out of something" In the past when I have made certain mistakes, that I felt warranted me losing something, I have always abide by it.

But something happened recently that has left me wondering if I erred. Assume is hypothetical, as I do not want this to become a worse problem between the buyer and myself, I honestly want to know from the more experienced chippers. If I am wrong I will try to work out something with the buyer. I am sure this has happened to many

Several days ago I listed several Nevada chips on fixed price. When I finished and reviewed my listings, I found out that a chip that I thought was worth 400-$499 and listed as an R-10 at $399.99, showed as $39.99, I messed up with the decimal. I went to correct it and an of course, a purchase order came in for the $39.99. I was not sure where of my rights were, looked at eBay's legal reason for cancelling a sale and found that you could if "you had made a listing mistake".

I, unfortunately, told the truth to the buyer, that it was a listing mistake, that an error in decimal had turned my R-10 advertised chip into a $39.99, and that I had to cancel it because I did not think that decimal mistake was worth several hundred dollars. I guess it would have been easier to say "it broke, I lost it, all legal under eBay" but wrongly assumed the buyer would understand.

Now the question is purely academic, as the said chips, regardless of what it cost me, is now only worth about $40 as that is how it will show up in the next TCR.

I am no saint or close, was unmarried, young, good looking and wild for a loong time... so saint I never was... and a sinner I sure am, just like most , but even then, I do not think that I ever tried to purposely scre... well, maybe wrong choice of words, but you get my meaning. Is not because I am good, I just happen to have a problem of not been able to sleep when something like that happens, and at my age, I do need my sleep!
