When the airwaitress asks me if I am able to open the emergency exit if needed, I have always wanted to grab the handle and say "sure - wanna see???" But just as some people have recently heard that The Onion is satire, I have heard that no one in the airline industry has a sense of humor anymore. So I haven't done it.

But some day someone is going to declare this national nightmare "over," and there will be no stopping me!
