I think you are asking where do you post an image that you want to modify repeatedly while keeping the same URL for it so the changes show up on posts that include the image.
The answer is: you can't use the hosting that David provides on this board. You have to store the image elsewhere so you can keep the same URL for it as you go through the multiple changes.
Most ISP's provide free storage (on a server) that you can upload your image to and keep it there forever. If you make changes later to the image, keep the same URL for it and it will appear in the posts you made with the later changes showing. There are also sites that will host your image for you. Some are free and some have a charge. Google: free image storage to see a discussion on the subject and find sites what will provide this hosting.
Pete described the editing software you might use to mark parts of the image to show chips that are sold. Just remember to save it under the same URL so the changes show up without having to make a new post with a different URL.
