Thank you everyone for your prayers and best wishes this past week during my heart surgery. Thanks for the posts, emails and phone calls. Really means a lot to me to hear from good chip club friends. Had surgery on Tuesday and was paroled from hospital on Wednesday. Modern medicine never ceases to amaze me. Ten years ago this would have been two weeks in the hospital. Doing well healing at home. My wife took the week off so I have been well taken care of. She's an amazing women. I'll be back in action in about five days and am looking forward to seeing everyone at this years convention.

I'm very sad to read about Doc Gross. I considered Doc a good friend. I will miss our conversations at the convention about his chess set collecting and his early days of chip collecting.Always loved playing poker with Doc both live and with the CBPP online. He will be missed. RIP my friend.
