Hallmark ornament collectors buy the current
Year ornaments at full value before Christmas.
30 days after Christmas prices go 50% then 75% off.
Later they drop to $ or two. Now you don't get all
Ornaments at discount because they sold out, but
you gotta feel bad if ones you did buy or in the reduced section.

This goes on year after year.
And when they have a real load of left overs, it comes out as a repaint the next year.
