Lyle so every time you want to use a symbol you will have to go through the steps you "outlined"?

Or can you have it Pin either in the Tash Bar or desktop icon?

You Pin your popup in the Tash Bar? For easy access?

I tried to Pin the Character Map but could not do it. Will look for a way to do it.
