I have two ways to get the chips. The simplest is to go to the cashier. They are glad to be of service, and a tip of a buck or two keeps them that way. My other method is to saunter up to the craps table. Sometimes a shoot a little craps, so on those occasions, a dollar chips usually costs $50 to $100. Other times, I just lay the money down, and tell them I need some chips for souvenirs. If you do it when the table is empty, or almost so, they will sometimes poke through looking for the chips in good condition. Of course, that's another dollar tip.
