Bad past experiences is why I don't usually ship outside of US. However, if I am contacted by a bidder outside the US, especially if they are a club member, I usually make an exception. The other reason is that foreign mailings require a trip to the post offifce and a long line of customers. Also, while it is against eBay policy to transact business outside of eBay, I must confess that on occassion I have done it with foreign transactions that were profitable to do so with higher postage costs to buyer.
