Now WAIT a minute here!
I have TWO things to say about this:
1. I happen to know this seller. He doesn't collect NCVs, Hard Rock or advertising chips. I was with him when we stood in line for chips, matches, slot cards - you name it. We had dinner at the Hard Rock - the meal was mediocre and after throwing $100 + into a slot machine, we STILL didn't have 2 pts on our slot card to get the "free mug" they offered. This guy drove from Lake Charles, stayed at the Trop (in support of the convention) and recently joined the club (paying his dues). Does it say in our guidelines "Any CC>CC acquisitions/ promo items must remain in the possession of the member who recieves them?"
I don't think anyone is more surprised than he is! And putting it on ebay DOES give more people a shot at owning one than "picking favorites".
2. Let's look at the chips in this scan. I acquired these 4 - FROM VARIOUS CLUB MEMBERS at the convention. Did I get the the Bac for $25?? HELL NO! The HTP at face?? NO WAY! Anyone who attended the auction knows (with 10% buyers fee and NV sales tax) the Chipco cost me about $177. The roulette? Probably harvested free one-upon -a-time ~~ free to me??? C'MON!!!
Does this make me want to put MY HR chip on ebay?? YOU BETCHA!
Because I am "greedy"? No - but it would almost pay for the Chipco!
Would I trade mine for something in more in collecting interests?? YOU BETCHA!
That's it - now tear me apart!
