I think the terminology that most have accepted, Kevin, is:

Gaming token.. A metal token that can be played in a machine on on the tables and that is redeemable by the casino.

Silver premium token.. A premium delivered to the player for hitting a winning combination on a machine. At least partilally made of silver, and usually not playable on any machine or on the tables, but redeemable by the casino.

To answer your question directly, your $1 metal tokens are "Gaming Tokens".

Archie may have somewhat different definitions in his proposed glossary but believe they will be essentially the same.
